ARE YOU FED UP WITH THE STATE OF THE WORLD?

There is so much to be “fed up” about:

  • daily reports of famine, disease and death
  • economic instability and political uncertainty
  • threats to our peace caused by war, crime and terror
  • fear of global warming
  • unequal distribution of wealth and resources
  • frequent stories of corruption and abuse

Then we have our own problems such as worry and stress over money, health, relationships or unemployment.

We’d like to give you a very different outlook on life because of a really positive book: “The Bible”.

Bible in a Tent - The World will be a Better Place Logo

In Luke 21: 25-28 Jesus foresaw the world we live in:

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things, which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

But Jesus continues with a wonderful promise:

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws nigh”.

When you read the Bible it will become apparent that the return of Christ follows very soon after the world has descended into these troubled times.

The Good News is that things will get better when Christ returns. He will establish God’s Kingdom on this earth. He will reign with justice, righteousness & peace and eventually totally eradicate sin, disease and death. Will you be ready when this time comes?

We are all called to believe, repent and be baptized into his saving name while the time remains. This involves learning about the gracious offer God makes to you through the pages of His word. The Bible is your essential handbook to a better life now and in the future.
